Meeting point is the Platia (village square/fountain) in the mountain village of Panagia. We head uphill into the forests around the mountain village of Panagia and visit the small church of Agios Nikolaos. Herb-lined areas and varied nature with wonderful views. Back in the mountain village of Panagia, we take a short tour of the village, visit a local potter and walk along the watercourse and make a stop at the Platia (village square) where you can watch the locals with a Greek coffee and fill up your water bottle at the village fountain. A visit to the traditional olive press shows you about the well-known olive oil, which is one of the 10 bests in the world.
After our visit to Panagia, we descend towards Chrissi Ammoudia. On your way you will pass the dragon's cave. Here the first settlers on Thasos found protection from the pirates. It continues above the bay with fantastic views of the Chrissi Ammoudia. Here you can refresh yourself with a dip in the crystal-clear water or relax in one of the beach cafés.
