  • Please be aware that every Friday, both the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Royal Opera House are closed. As a result, we will only be able to make a photo stop outside, along with a brief explanation.
  • Children under 5 years old can join the tour free of charge.
  • The Grand Mosque is open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and it is closed on Fridays. If your booking is between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, we will only be able to make a photo stop outside, along with a brief explanation.

At approximately 8:30 AM, we will take you through the gorgeous city of Muscat where we will first visit the Grand mosque which, among a couple others, is one of the biggest 1-piece handmade Iranian carpet in the world. The carpet weighs a whopping 21 tonnes and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers. Shortly. (Dress code for the grand mosque: Men and women must wear long sleeve long pants and ladies must cover their hair)
