Overview
I have been designing experiences in the city for more than 15 years and one of these is to develop activities in the most beautiful city of Chile such as Viña del Mar. We recognise the history of Viña very important in the development of Chile, the music that has marked dozens of generations with the Quinta Vergara and the imposing outdoor stage. In addition, we will explore the biodiversity found on its beaches with impressive geological formations such as the dune fields and the Oceanic rock must-see for nature lovers. At Reñaca beach we find fun and fashion i.e. we complement the entertainment and culture.

La Quinta Vergara: An oasis in Viña del Mar
La Quinta Vergara is a large urban park, located in the heart of Viña del Mar, Chile. This beautiful green space is recognised nationally and internationally for being the venue of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival, one of the most important musical events in Latin America.
What to see and do in the Fifth Vergara :
Vergara Palace : This majestic Venetian Gothic building is one of the main attractions of the park. Currently, it functions as a museum that houses a collection of art and historical objects.
Amphitheatre : The place where the Viña del Mar Festival takes place. Its imposing structure and excellent acoustics make it an ideal stage for large events
Gardens : The gardens of the Fifth Vergara are a true paradise for nature lovers. Winding roads, fountains, sculptures and a variety of plant species.
Corporacion Museo de Arqueologia e Historia Francisco Fonck

Fonck Museum : A window into history and culture
The Fonck Museum, named after the Chilean-based German doctor and philanthropist, Dr. Francisco Fonck, is a space dedicated to archaeology and history. Founded in 1937, this museum has witnessed the cultural evolution of the region and has become a reference for those who want to know more about Chile’s past.
The Moai: An Ancient Guardian
Undoubtedly, one of the most emblematic pieces of the museum is the moai, an imposing stone sculpture brought from Easter Island in 1951. This monolith, characteristic of rapa nui culture, stands on the side of the museum’s façade, welcoming visitors as an ancient guardian.
In addition to the moai, the museum houses a wide collection of artefacts and objects that tell of the history and culture of Chile
Playa Renaca
- 20m
Reñaca Beach is one of Chile’s most popular tourist destinations and an icon of Viña del Mar. I present you with a detailed description so you can get to know this beautiful place better:
Playa de Reñaca : A coastal paradise
Reñaca is much more than just a beach; it is a complete spa offering a wide range of activities and attractions for all tastes. With its extensive golden sand beaches, crystal clear waters and vibrant atmosphere, Reñaca has become the favourite place for Chileans and foreigners to enjoy the sun, sea and sand.
Beach sectors:
Reñaca beach is divided into several sectors, each with its own atmosphere and appeal:
Sector 1 : Quieter and more familiar area, ideal for those looking to relax and enjoy the sea.
Sector 2 : Known for its restaurants and cafes, it is perfect to enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the sea.
Sector 3 : Most sporting area, where surf schools are concentrated.
Concon Dunes
- 20m
The Dunes of Concon : A sea of sand on the coast
The dunes of Concón, officially named Campo dunar de la Punta de Concón, are a set of Chilean dunes located between the commune of Concón and the town of Reñaca, in the Valparaiso Region. This stunning landscape is characterised by its extensive sandy areas, formed by the action of the wind on the coast
A little geological history
The origin of these dunes dates back to the Quaternary period, when sea and wind action shaped the coastal landscape. Its location on a sea terrace more than 30 metres above sea level makes them a unique geological phenomenon.
A unique ecosystem
Despite its arid appearance, the dunes of Concón are home to a rich biodiversity. Several species of plants and animals have managed to adapt to this hostile environment, creating a fragile but fascinating ecosystem.
Roca Oceanica
- 15m
The Ocean Rock : A natural viewpoint over the Pacific
The Ocean Rock is a rocky headland located on the coastal edge between Concón and Viña del Mar, in Chile. Declared a Sanctuary of Nature in 1990, this place stands out for its geological, ecological and marine biological value.
Distinctive characteristics:
Geological formation: A sedimentary rock spur of ovoid shape that enters the ocean, reaching about 25 metres in height.
Natural viewpoint: From its top you get a breathtaking panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, the beaches of Concón and Viña del Mar, and the coastal dunes.
Marine Biodiversity: Being a meeting point between sea and land, Ocean Rock is home to a wide variety of marine species, such as birds, fish and molluscs.
Ecological value: its conservation in the natural state makes it a natural laboratory for the study of coastal ecosystems
Flower Clock (Reloj de Flores)
- 20m
The Flower Clock : A Floral Artwork
Located at the foot of Cerro Castillo, in front of the beach resort of Caleta Abarca, the Flores Clock is a giant watch whose cover art is formed by thousands of flowers of different species and colours. This work of landscaping and horticulture is a visual spectacle that changes throughout the seasons, offering a unique experience to each visitor.
