Description

Discover one of Australia's most scenic coastal drives, the Great Ocean Road, on this guided tour. From stunning surfing beaches to beautiful rainforests, experience Victoria's awe-inspiring panoramas. Witness the sun setting over the rugged coastline and soak in the area's romantic ambiance.

Escape the crowds with a later departure from Melbourne then sit back, relax, and ride through the gorgeous coastal towns with plenty of stops along the way. We break for lunch (at own expense) at Kennett River and spot koalas resting in the treetops as we stroll through the eucalyptus forest.

Drive through The Otways rainforest to find lush vegetation and some of Australia's tallest eucalyptus trees. Later, explore Port Campbell National Park, where you see the famous and uniquely formed limestone stacks, The Twelve Apostles.

We make our way to the Lock Ard Gorge and Gibsons Steps enjoying sunset along this spectacular coastline. Learn about the shipwreck that made this coast famous. Walk along the pristine sands, stopping for a moment to appreciate the sun reflecting off the water and perhaps snap a picture. After an amazing journey, relax on your return to Melbourne.

Good tour for the price. Small van, very tight, no storage. It would help the many non-speaking tourists to have a guide speaking other than English. Just a small suggestion to encourage tourism. Take food, there is limited choice on this long trip. Beautiful, beautiful part of the world. The non-locals on the tour seemed to enjoy themselves.

The tour was excellent. We had a fun time with our guide, Jun, who was funny. It was a bit tiring as the journey was for 550km long. The seat on the bus wasn't very comfy as the legroom was just enough for my legs. But, the view was great. We had several pjt stop like the Aboriginal centre, see the koala and the birds and the Loch Arch Gorge. At our last stop at the Twelve Apostles, they provided the guests with biscuits and tea/coffee. Overall it was an enjoyable day out.
