What you can expect

  • Discover the “Alhambra Experience” workshop, a fun activity for children, adults and families in central Granada. Learn the basics of Arab decoration and have access to all the tools and materials required to make your first masterpiece of Andalusian craftsmanship.

    Meet at the activity provider's cosy art school at only 500 metres from the cathedral. On the day of the activity you can choose between a dozen of pieces:
    · Make an authentic mosaic tiled panel,
    . Paint a Nasrid tile,
    · Decorates a reproduction of the Alhambra in polychromatic plasterwork with gold leaf,
    . Create your own stucco piece reproducing faithfully the direct carving technique used in al-Andalus.
    · Build a chessboard and learn basic concepts of the granadian marquetry
