Description

Experience the magic of the Cinque Terre coastline and see for yourself why this breath-taking landscape was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With transport from Milan, explore the enchanting seaside towns of Portovenere, Monterosso, and Manarola—all in a single day.

Sit back and relax as a comfortable coach transfers you from Milan to the scenic port city of La Spezia. Along the way, listen as your expert tour guide shares captivating commentary on the local points of interest. Upon arrival in La Spezia, board a ferry to the enchanting seaside town of Portovenere. Enjoy free time to explore the area, admiring the tall pastel-coloured houses and sensational ocean views from the ruins of the hilltop castle.

Next, embark on a mesmerising cruise up the Italian Riviera coastline to the Cinque Terre, a collection of 5 centuries-old seaside villages. Behold the dramatic green hills that plummet into crystalline waters, which have earned the destination a spot on UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites. Stop at Monterosso to treat yourself to a seasonal lunch, or opt for a 45-minute hike through terraced vineyards up to the Convent of the Capuchin Friars. Make a final stop in the grape-growing village of Manarola before returning to Milan.

We will do our best to make sure your trip includes all the sites as per description, however please note the itinerary might be adjusted according to weather and transport conditions.

Too rush. Trying to cram too much into a day tour not taking into account on this particular day we were on, the boat had to bypass three villages because of rough sea ! We were suppose to stop in! We only went Portovenere, to Monterosso and train to Riomaggiore as an alternate.

Terrible...promises booked boat tour, the highlight of the view, wasn’t booked. The weather was perfect, no cloud in the sky, perfect waters...no excuses. The whole point of the excursion was to see these villages from the sea. We had to take multiple trains in the hot weather, wasted time, constantly waited for people....and spent almost 7 hours driving in the bus... unacceptable... we book so much through Expedia and this was horrible. Wasted the whole day from 7 am to 9 pm. Please process a full refund for 4 tickets. Thank you

It was a great day tour. Much easier than navigating cinque terre on your own. You do rely on public transport on this tour though so be prepared to changes to the schedule based on any delays etc . Just be flexible!
