Vietnam's largest island makes the perfect setting for a day of sightseeing among the beaches, wilderness, and wineries that fill the landscape of Phu Quoc. Head from the waterfront fishing village of Ham Ninh to the jungles of Phu Quoc National Park and get a great look at a land full of nature.

After your guide choices you from your hotel, you get a look at the oyster harvest on your way inland. Stop to visit the Sim Winery, where you can get to know some of the island's unique wines. Next, you're shown to the infamous Coconut Tree Prison Camp, which dates back to the Vietnam War.

After lunch, you can relax on one of the island's pristine beaches and enjoy the tranquil surroundings ahead of your visit to the village of Ham Ninh, famous for its fresh seafood and shallow waters filled with fishermen. Not far away, a hidden trail leads to the Tranh stream, which runs through a series of scenic little waterfalls.

It's then time to head to the north side of the island, where your guide shows you the tranquil setting of Ganh Dau Cape. Relax and go for a swim before you strike out into Phu Quoc National Park for a look at the century-old trees and the dugongs at home in the wilderness. Visit the temple dedicated to Nguyen Trung Truc, a fisherman and Vietnamese hero, and make a last stop at the Bee Farm to see where organic honey gets made before you head back to your hotel.
