Trakai Island Castle

In Trakai, travellers will stroll along the historic Karaim street, lined with colourful wooden houses built by the Karaim community brought to Lithuania in the 14th century. They'll learn about this unique ethnic group's traditions and see the Kenesa, the Karaim temple. From there, they’ll enjoy beautiful views of Trakai Island Castle from the lakeshore and have the chance to take a relaxing boat ride around the castle (optional, weather permitting), offering a different perspective of this fairytale-like fortress. Travellers can also choose to have lunch at a traditional Karaim restaurant, tasting local dishes like kibinai. Afterwards, they’ll have free time to explore the area on their own—visit souvenir shops, enjoy the lakeside views, or enter the castle if they wish to explore it inside.

Uzutrakis Manor Estate (The Tyszkiewicz Palace)

At Užutrakis Manor, travellers will explore the beautifully restored 19th-century neoclassical estate of the Tyszkiewicz family.
