What you can expect

Begin your day escaping the city and stepping into the peaceful countryside of Kaisei, Kanagawa.
The standard meeting point is Shin-Matsuda Station(Odakyu Line). Other options may be available depending on the day. Your guide will be easy to find with a yellow flag.

Start with a warm welcome from your tea master, followed by a guided walk through lush green tea fields. Learn how Japanese tea is grown, pick young tea leaves with your own hands, and take your harvest home as a souvenir.

After tea picking, enjoy tasting a wide variety of Japanese teas at your own pace, including matcha, sencha, hojicha, Japanese black tea, matcha latte, and even matcha beer.

Then sit down to a farm-to-table lunch featuring freshly prepared vegetable tempura, local rice (make your own rice balls), a seasonal salad with fruit dressing, and a matcha dessert.

This experience is slow-paced, hands-on, and perfect for travellers looking for an authentic, non-touristy activity. Vegan and halal-friendly options are available.
Dietary requests such as gluten-free meals may be accommodated with advance notice. Please inform us at the time of booking.
