What you can expect

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Tbilisi, leaving the city skyline behind for the lush landscapes of the Imereti region. This is a 100% private trip, ensuring the day is tailored to your rhythm. You won’t be rushed by a large group; instead, you’ll enjoy a flexible, intimate experience. As we drive, the scenery shifts into deep emerald greens.
Our first destination is the enchanting Martvili Canyon. Here, the Abasha River has spent millions of years carving a limestone masterpiece. You’ll step into a small boat to glide through the canyon’s narrowest parts, where the turquoise water is so clear you can see the riverbed below. Moss-covered cliffs rise high on either side, draped in hanging vines and ferns. After the boat ride, we’ll walk the forest trails and stone bridges, stopping at viewing platforms to witness the powerful cascades of hidden waterfalls. It is a place of peace, where the only sound is the gentle rush of water.
Next, we head to the depths of the earth at Prometheus Cave, one of Europe’s most impressive underground systems. As you wander through its six massive halls, you’ll be surrounded by a stunning forest of stalactites and stalagmites that have grown over millennia. The cave is lit with soft, colourful lights that highlight the intricate textures of the rock, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The scale is breathtaking, and the underground rivers flowing through the caverns add a sense of mystery. To finish this part of the journey, we’ll take a quiet boat ride through an underground lake, emerging back into the daylight at the cave’s hidden exit.
Between these wonders, we’ll pause for a taste of local life. Since this is your private journey, we can stop at a charming spot to enjoy authentic Imeretian cuisine. Imagine the scent of freshly baked bread and traditional dishes seasoned with garden-grown herbs—a moment to relax and discuss the day's highlights.

Our final stop is the historic city of Kutaisi, one of the oldest cities in the world. We will visit the magnificent Bagrati Cathedral, a UNESCO-listed gem that sits atop Ukimerioni Hill. From here, you’ll have a panoramic view of the entire city and the Rioni River below. We’ll then explore the heart of Kutaisi, walking across the iconic White Bridge and seeing the ornate Colchis Fountain. The city has a warm, welcoming soul that feels different from Tbilisi, offering a glimpse into the heart of western Georgia.

As evening approaches, we begin our comfortable return journey. You’ll travel back in the privacy of your car, giving you time to reflect on a day filled with canyons, caves, and ancient history.
