What you can expect

  • Hotel pick-up (7:45–8:00 a.m.)
We'll start the sightseeing tour with pick-up from your hotel in the city of Puno and then head to the Quechua area of the Altiplano.

    Lampa – Pink City
Our first stop will be Lampa, known as the Pink City. We'll stroll through its colonial streets and visit the Church of Santiago Apóstol (1675), declared a national monument. We'll see its catacombs and a replica of Michelangelo's La Pietà.

    Pucará
We'll then continue to Pucará, birthplace of one of the oldest cultures in the Altiplano. We'll visit the Lithic Museum, which displays important archaeological pieces from the Pucará culture, also known for its traditional bull figurines. Here, we'll enjoy a boxed lunch.

    Tinajani Canyon
The tour ends at the breathtaking Tinajani Canyon, an underexplored natural gem. We'll take an easy hike of about 3 km (30 to 45 minutes), passing by vantage points and reddish rock formations, including the iconic Roca del Vigilante (Watchman Rock).

    Return to Puno
After the visit, we'll head back to the city of Puno, arriving at approximately 7:00 p.m.
