What you can expect

See the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct the way it was meant to be seen – by train. This full day tour from Inverness combines iconic Highland scenery with a memorable rail journey across the legendary “Harry Potter Bridge.”

Travel along Loch Ness with a stop at Fort Augustus before continuing to the Commando Memorial for views over Ben Nevis. Visit the Glenfinnan Viaduct, then enjoy free time for lunch in Mallaig.

In the afternoon, board the train for a stunning journey along the West Highland Line to Fort William, passing lochs, moorland and remote Highland communities, including a crossing of the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Rejoin your guide in Fort William and return to Inverness with scenic stops including Invermoriston and views of Urquhart Castle.

Please note: This tour includes a local train service and is not the Jacobite Steam Train.
