Sinaia Monastery, founded in 1695 by Mihail Cantacuzino, is an important monastic complex in the town of Sinaia. The ensemble blends Brâncovenesc and Byzantine architectural styles, featuring the old church, inner courtyard, monastic buildings, and a museum with rare artefacts. The place offers serenity, spirituality, remarkable mural paintings, and a deep connection to the history of the Prahova Valley. The ry stands as a cultural landmark, encouraging reflection and tranquility.
Cantacuzino Castle in Bușteni, built in 1911 by Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, is a remarkable Neo-Romanian-style residence. Situated at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains, the castle offers stunning views, elegant halls, art collections, stained glass, and original frescoes. Its interior impresses with carved details and a historical atmosphere, complemented by the large courtyard and decorative fountains. Today, the castle is a major tourist attraction, hosting exhibitions, cultural events, and tranquility.
Important note: In case of heavy traffic on the Prahova Valley (especially during weekends or holiday periods), the the tour will begin with Peleș Castle, and Bran Castle will be visited last in order to avoid losing 4–5 hours in traffic. This operational decision is made exclusively to ensure a smoother experience and to preserve the quality and timing of the tour. Guests will be informed about this adjustment no later than one day before the tour or, if necessary, on the morning of the tour.
