Meet at Bole International airport and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is exploring the town of Addis Ababa; we began with National Museum to view the 3.6 million-year-old remains of Lucy, whose skeletal remains were discovered in 1974.

Day 2: Addis Ababa - Mekele - Hamed Ela

Visit Asale Salt mining with the salt workers and the merchant from the highland salt market and the lake and proceed 17 km to Dalol and enjoy the spectacular view and small hill which is colourful by hot spring in several places. The hot spring out with the sulphur, potash and salt it forms spectacular formation.
Day 4: Dodem - Erta Alle

Early morning start walking to the Erta Alle Volcanic hills (613 metres above sea level) and see the volcanic eruption; the eruption is so colourful and spectacular. We will camp nearby the eruption considering the direction of the wind because of the volcanic acid which is not good for health, anytime any one can see or take a picture. To get Best pictures of the volcano will be a night shooting.
Day 5: Erta Alle - Mekele

Early morning walking back to Dodem and meet the driver and drive back to Mekele.
