Lahij - State Historical And Cultural Reserve (Pass by)
Lahij is a living history, where local residents carefully keep the traditions and crafts of their ancestors to this day. The village, known since the times of the Great Silk Road as an old centre for the production of copper dishes and minting, is still famous for its craftsmen. The road to Lahij, spread among the picturesque mountain slopes at an altitude of 1300 metres above sea level, will not leave anyone indifferent. The village of Ivanovka is a unique settlement founded in 1840 as a result of the resettlement of Molokan peasants from central Russia to the Transcaucasus. The last collective farm that remained from Soviet times on the territory of our country functions here.

Today, about two thousand inhabitants live here, who are descendants of the population of ancient Caucasian Albania (a state that existed on the territory of Azerbaijan from the 1st century BC to the 5th century).
