Begin your experience with a private transfer from Parga, Syvota, or Preveza. Head to Ancient Nikopolis, where your expert guide will bring history to life. Admire the intricate mosaics that have remained untouched by time and stand at the Ancient Theatre. From its highest point, gaze at the view towards the Ambracian Gulf and the Ionian Sea — the exact same field where the Battle of Actium changed the course of history and birthed the Roman Empire.

To complete the image of the “City of Victory,” visit the Archaeological Museum of Nikopolis. See rare artefacts testifying to the wealth and daily life of the Roman elite, completing the puzzle of history.

As the sun rises, leave history for myth. At the Springs of Acheron, the landscape transforms. Plane trees touch the water, while imposing rocks and the cold, crystal stream of the river call to you. Walk together in the canyon – an experience of rejuvenation and awe.

Conclude your day with an authentic meal next to the river, enjoying the flavours of Epirus before your return.
