What you can expect

  • Discover Marcatobianco, an authentic village in the heart of western Sicily, about 82 km from Palermo. This little gem, with only 120 inhabitants, jealously guards the traditions of yesteryear and offers a unique experience far from mass tourism.

Guided by the village families, you will experience the art of artisanal cheese making, learning ancient techniques and secrets passed down from generation to generation. It will not only be a hands-on experience, but a journey into the values of simplicity, warmth and sharing that define this small community.

After creating your cheese, you will savour the fruits of your labour with a tasting of local products and homemade bread, surrounded by a genuine, family atmosphere.

Marcatobianco is not just a destination: it is a dive into the authenticity of Sicily and the soul of its traditions.
