What you can expect

Explore the unspoiled jungle of Ulu Temburong National Park—the “Green Jewel of Brunei”—on this full-day tour.

Travel by land crossing the Sultan Hj Omar Ali Saifuddin Bridge and head eastward to Brunei's first national park, which is only accessible by river. Ride along the dense mangrove forests and look out for the exotic wildlife that calls the mangroves home. Upon arrival at Batang Duri, sit down for a lovely cup of morning tea.

After a refreshing break, travel upstream through the Temburong River on a traditional longboat to reach Ulu Temburong National Park's main entrance. Step into the reserve and breathe in fresh air as you examine the many species of plants exclusive to the area.

Next, step onto the canopy walkway, which is suspended 160 feet (50 m) above the forest floor. As you look out over the highest trees, marvel at the stunning, verdant vistas around you. Then relish a delicious Bruneian lunch by the riverside. Take time to swim and relax, or choose an optional, adrenaline-filled rafting excursion.

Then return downstream to the Rainforest Lodge by longboat, where you can freshen up and have afternoon tea. After a day of adventure, depart back to Bandar Seri Begawan by water taxi, where your hotel transfer awaits at the jetty.
