What you can expect

Spend a memorable day trip from Brasov to Piatra Craiului, one of the most challenging massifs in Romania. Together with a specialised mountain guide, you will have the opportunity to climb on the main ridge or choose one of the optional routes available, depending on your physical condition.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Brasov in the morning and transfer you to Zarnesti, where the hike begins with a moderate ascent through a stunning beech forest. As you reach Zanoaga meadow, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Bucegi mountains and the main ridge of Piatra Craiului.

Continuing on an easy trail, you will arrive at Curmatura Chalet, the highest situated hut in the massif, at 1470 metres. From here, you will have the option to choose your trail and reach the main ridge, climbing up to the Ascutit peak (2150 m) or selecting another route that best suits your fitness level and experience.
