Overview
This relaxing half-day combo tour is the perfect way to explore Dubrovnik, Cavtat, and their picturesque surroundings. Discover the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Dubrovnik region while enjoying its world-renowned gastronomy.
We’ll visit Dubrovnik’s top photo spots, including the Ombla River, Franjo Tuđman Bridge, and Mount Srđ, before continuing south to the charming town of Cavtat. After exploring Cavtat, we head to Konavle Valley, the traditional food-producing region of southern Croatia.
Our journey includes a visit to the Ljuta River and its historic water mills, vital for the Dubrovnik Republic’s flour production. We’ll also explore Sokol Fortress, which once protected Konavle and Dubrovnik from invaders.
To complete the experience, we’ll visit the historical museum in Čilipi, showcasing the region’s heritage and silk production.
Finally, enjoy a tasting of local products and savour the authentic gastronomy of the region!

Our first stop offers you a stunning viewpoint overlooking the Ombla River, a vital water source for Dubrovnik and part of the Natura 2000 protected landscape. Regarded as the world's shortest river, its crystal-clear waters maintain a constant temperature of 10°C (50°F). The shores are lined with historic summer residences and chapels of Dubrovnik's ancient rulers, offering both natural beauty and a glimpse into the city’s rich heritage
Franjo Tudman Bridge

Explore the iconic Dubrovnik Bridge, a modern engineering marvel completed in 2002. Spanning 518 metres and rising 55 metres above the Ombla River Bay, the bridge connects both shores with elegance and functionality.
From its vantage point, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Gruž port, the Lapad Peninsula and Babin Kuk. Sokol Grad, located on a steep cliff above Konavle, is a medieval fortress dating back to the 14th century and was an important strategic point for the defence of the Dubrovnik Republic. The fortress served as a shelter for the population during times of danger, as well as a centre of military power in the region. Today, it has been restored and is open to visitors, who can explore the preserved walls, towers, and cisterns while enjoying the impressive view of Konavle, the surrounding villages, and the Adriatic Sea. Sokol Grad symbolises courage and resistance, representing an important historical and cultural heritage of the area.
