After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowing boat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut sweets, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.
