After the pick up from your hotel, head to the sprawling park atop Cerro Santa Lucía. The hilltop viewpoint at Terraza Bellevista offers sweeping panoramas over the sparkling city below. Pass by the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. The oldest art museum in South America, this beautiful building boasts a world-class collection of Chilean and South American art. Stroll the lively streets, buzzing with locals out to enjoy the evening, and stop to admire La Moneda, the ornate neoclassical government building that houses Chile's presidential offices.
Head to the booming business district, which locals call “Sanhattan” for its towering skyscrapers. Two of South America's tallest buildings are located here—the Titanium La Portada, at 55 stories and 636 feet (194 m), and the Gran Torre Santiago, at 63 stories and 985 feet (300 m).
