Our journey continues with a visit to a factory showcasing the famed Dominican stones, Ambar and Larimar, home to the formidable San Felipe Fortress.
To quench our thirst for knowledge and spirits alike, we’ll venture to the Vinícola del Norte, a renowned rum and liquor factory.
Concluding our tour, we’ll meander through the Historic Centre of Puerto Plata, exploring the iconic “Calle de las Umbrellas” and the quaint “Callejón de doña Blanca,” before bidding farewell in the park.

Accompanied by our guide, who will be responsible of transmitting your vast knowledge of our culture, going to the back of the countryside heart we will visit the old melasa bread factory, a typical house of artisans, visiting their home and learning their way of life. You will explore a tobacco plantation and the manufacturing process of artisanal cigars, enjoy beautiful panoramic views and visit the organic factory cacao plantation where you can learn the whole procedure of chocolate and taste it. A visit step of a cheese factory belonging to a traditional family at the Imbert community where we'll also visit the park.
