With the option to adjust the hiking distances each day, this trip caters to both adventurous spirits and those looking to take it easier—making it ideal for couples with different preferences. Set against the stunning backdrop of the San Juan Mountains, our base camp is conveniently located near Purgatory Ski Area on the north side of Durango. Our camp features all the modern amenities you desire, including a fully equipped kitchen (although we do all the cooking), a cosy guest tent with a living room-style area to unwind, a refreshing shower tent for post-hike rinse off, and a bathroom for your comfort.
