Begin the activity by immersing in the natural beauty of Sila National Park. Pass through forests of larch pines, beech trees, maple trees, and other endemic species, offering a spectacle of biodiversity in the heart of the Sila National Park.
The trail leads to the Sila Giants Reserve, an ancient forest with 58 imposing centuries-old larch pines, managed by the FAI (Italian Environmental Fund). The visit follows a circular route of approximately 1 km, allowing you to discover one of the most evocative natural treasures of the Sila Plateau.
After the hike, the route continues to Cava di Melis, home to the highest vineyard in Europe. Here, at over 1,200 metres above sea level, heroic viticulture is practised through the valorization of the local resources while respecting the environment and biodiversity.
Walk among the rows of vines and savour mountain wines, paired with typical local products.
