What you can expect

Take a tour with an Aboriginal guide through the Murujuga National Park, which has the highest concentration of Aboriginal rock art in the world.

Discover the petroglyphs created by the Yaburrara or Northern Ngarluma people. This ancient rock art dates back to before the ice age, which ended over 40,000 years ago. There are up to a million rock art images scattered across the entire Burrup Peninsula and Dampier Archipelago.

Experience a traditional welcome ceremony and learn about bush medicine and traditional stories. See the Flying Foam Massacre Site and Hearson Cove Beach.

Your tour guide has extensive cultural knowledge of the areas surrounding Karratha and will share with you over 50,000 years of history and knowledge of the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi people.
