Description

BridgeClimb Sydney is temporarily closed until further notice

Following the recent Government announcement, BridgeClimb as a non-essential service has taken the step to close its operations from close of business 23 March 2020, to join the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Australia.

Climb to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for unforgettable panoramic views of the city skyline and harbour. With a professional Climb Leader to lead the way, scale catwalks and ladders to reach the 440-foot (134-m) top and soak up bird's-eye views of the Sydney Opera House and beyond.

Immerse yourself in the spirit of Sydney by scaling one of Australia's icons. Begin by going over a few safety considerations and getting set up with your climbing gear for the day. When you're ready to head out, latch onto the climb base below the Bradfield Highway and then make your way up narrow catwalks as the sound of bridge traffic quiets to a distant rumble.

Ascend 4 ladders, then soak up the unmissable view as you walk along the upper arch of the Bridge to the top. Spend some time admiring the view of Sydney from this surreal vantage point. Cross over to the Darling Harbour side to bag another perspective and then descend the bridge to wrap up your adventure.

Oh my goodness - what an experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the bridge climb and would recommend it to anyone who wants to view Sydney from this amazing vantage point. The safety briefing at the start of the climb was good and made you feel that you were going to be completely safe the whole time you're on the bridge. The guide was fun and informative and answered many questions from our group along the way. There is a fairly challenging point in which you go up (and then down) 4 steep flights of stairs, but we all managed it with no problems, and there were 2 guides at the top and bottom to make sure you were OK. I would definitely do this again if we were lucky enough to visit Sydney - great fun and an amazing thing to be able to say you've climbed the coat hanger!

The pre-climb preparation and training were very thorough and reassuring. At first, I was a bit nervous but once we got to the top of the bridge, it felt exhilarating with a sense of accomplishment. Also, our guide was very friendly and instilled confidence.
