This guided bike tour is designed for travellers who want to explore the region at a slow and enjoyable pace while discovering both natural and historical highlights.
The tour starts near the city promenade of Pogradec, where you will meet your guide, receive your bicycle and safety equipment, and get a short briefing before setting off. From here, the route follows a mostly flat and easy path suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Cycling along the lakeshore, the first stop is the Drilon Water Park and Springs, a unique natural area known for its crystal-clear waters and lush surroundings. The route continues through Tushemisht, a charming lakeside village famous for its traditional atmosphere and close connection to the lake.
The journey then leads towards St. Naum, one of the most iconic destinations on Lake Ohrid, located just across the border in North Macedonia. Here, you will visit the historic Monastery of St. Naum and explore the breathtaking water springs, where underground sources create a peaceful and picturesque landscape. Depending on timing, there will be free time to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings.
Throughout the tour, your English-speaking guide will share insights about the region’s history, culture, and natural heritage, enriching the experience with local knowledge. The total cycling distance is approximately 25 km return, with minimal elevation gain, making the ride comfortable and enjoyable.

Please bring a valid ID card or passport, as the tour crosses the border into North Macedonia to visit St. Naum. You will need your document at the customs checkpoint.
