We booked this trip for 3:30pm on our first day in Hanoi. We were just getting ready to go out exploring in the morning when we got a phone call to say that we would be picked up at 8:00 am - lucky we had not left yet! The tour was good, our guide Lily was lovely and very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. There was no train excursion at all so not sure what that part is all about!
