Overview

Escape Tokyo for a truly special day trip to Ashikaga, home to some of Japan’s most breathtaking wisteria.

This tour is guaranteed to run even with just one guest.

Enjoy a premium Tochigi Wagyu roast beef rice bowl for lunch.

Discover Ashikaga, a historic samurai town often called “Little Kyoto.” Visit Banna-ji Temple and Ashikaga School, the oldest school in Japan, and take in panoramic views from Orihime Shrine, famous for its rare seven-colored torii gates.

You will also be exclusively welcomed by a local resident dressed in full samurai armour — a unique and memorable experience.

Enjoy free time to explore cafés, shops, or try an optional samurai armour experience. Small group (max 8 guests).

Finally, spend 2.5 hours at Ashikaga Flower Park, where the wisteria is at its most beautiful — glowing in the golden sunset and illuminated at night.

Afterwards, relax in a comfortable seat on the Tobu train and return to Tokyo the same day with ease.
