Overview

Ride your horse around the San Rafael dam up into the high Andes mountains of La Calera. Enjoy a fun ride with spectacular views and lush forest vegetation. The horse trail goes along dirt roads and cobblestone pathways up into the mountains through a majestic Andean forest. Amazing scenery awaits!

Note: Everyone joining this tour must wear a helmet and keep it on at ALL times. Failure to wear a helmet will cause the cancellation of the tour without refunds.

Activity itinerary

Upon departure drive up through the Eastern Mountains to La Calera (1.5 hours). Meet your local guide and set up for the ride. Horseback ride through scenic mountain trails, farm land and even visit a small waterfall (1.5 to 3 hours). Experienced riders are able to gallop on open fields. Taste home made sugarcane tea. Return to the city (1.5 hours) Note: This is a group activity and you MAY be joined by other travellers at any point during the tour. Everyone joining this tour MUST wear a helmet and keep it on at all times. Failure to wear a helmet will cause the cancellation of the tour with no refunds.
