Activity itinerary

Day 1: Camping in Big Bear

Accommodation: Cosy up in tents with comfortable sleeping bags, nestled under the tranquil night sky.

Big Bear Lake

The fun begins as we arrive to the campsite! After brief introductions and orientation, all guests are issues camping gear, tents and sleeping bags. Everyone gets a chance to pick their spot at our private 29-acre campsite! Guests will learn how to pick out a perfect spot and set-up their tent. Afterwards, everyone will be free to begin to explore the grounds while your guides prepare a delicious lunch.

Big Bear Region

Lunch will be served around noon, as a family style lunch where everyone gets to ick whatever they like. We can accommodate a variety of different diets and tastes. We also serve drinks and snacks. The group enjoys lunch for about an hour.

Big Bear Region

The real fun begins after lunch! The entire group can explore the wild lands of San Bernardino forest and surrounding mountains. Those who want, can participate in our "Treasure Trek" scavenger hunt. All participating guests will be handed a map, and a list of tasks to complete. These vary from finding a specific plant, to acting out a scene, or taking a photo of a unique feature at the campsite. The fastest team/guest wins bragging rights for the rest of the night! This is a perfect opportunity to explore this beautiful site! There are stunning views atop of smaller peaks around, hikes, various games throughout (cornhole, horseshoes, jenga, UNO, dominoes and more). You can go for a quick hike, venture to a small creek, or sway away in a hammock.

Big Bear Region

Join us for a 30 minute "Know your habitat" session, where our guides will go over our local flora and fauna. We'll explore different types of plants growing around the sites, we'll learn about various animals. We will also help you get familiar with different types of camping and camping equipment. This is the time for guests to ask away any questions they may have. This session is supposed to educate while keeping things comfortable and fun.

Big Bear Region

As the sun begins to set, our guides will prepare the campfire and set everything up for the night. This is also the time where dinner will be served. We always make dinners that are able to cater to variety of tastes and diets. We'll enjoy the dinner in a family setting.

As the evening sets upon the campsite, guests can enjoy smores at the campfire, stargaze, or just have a drink and relax, while bonding with others at the same time. Around the campfire, worries seem to melt away as bonds strengthen, and a sense of connection to nature and each other deepens under the starlit sky. And just like that, day 1 comes to an end.

Day 2: Kayaking and Exploration in Big Bear City

As you wake up in the morning, enjoy a family style breakfast in the open air. Your guides will prepare variety of foods, all family style and all you can eat, served with hot coffee and tea, with a side of fruits. This will be the time to pack up and say goodbye to this beautiful private campsite.

Around 11:30AM, we arrive in Big Bear Lake. where you will Immerse yourself in the tranquility and beauty of Big Bear Lake with our kayaking adventure. Perfect for all skill levels, you'll paddle through crystal-clear waters surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and lush forests. Keep an eye out for local wildlife like bald eagles and otters as you explore the shoreline. Our knowledgeable guides provide a brief orientation and share fascinating insights about the lake's history and ecosystem. Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape or an exciting exploration of hidden coves and inlets, this kayaking adventure is an essential addition to your outdoor getaway!

After wave-tastic time on the lake, the entire group meets at a local restaurant to enjoy a lunch on us, while everyone shares their best stories from the lake.

Before you depart, take some time to explore the charming town of Big Bear. Spend two delightful hours strolling through its quaint streets, filled with unique shops, cosy cafes, and inviting restaurants. Start your visit by browsing the local boutiques, where you can find everything from handcrafted souvenirs to outdoor gear. Enjoy a coffee or a sweet treat at one of the charming cafes, and soak in the friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Or, simply take a leisurely walk along the scenic lakeshore, capturing beautiful views and fresh mountain air. This brief yet enriching visit to Big Bear Town perfectly complements your outdoor adventure, giving you a taste of the local culture and hospitality before you head back.

Big Bear Region

Right around 4:30PM, we’ll start to wind down, and making our way back to the starting point. It will take us around 2.5 – 3 hours to get back. With hearts full and spirits high, enjoy a scenic drive back to the meeting point, cherishing the bonds and adventures made at Big Bear. This will be a perfect time to relax, listen to good music, recap the weekend and connect with others. Our trip ends right around 7:30PM on a Sunday evening.
