Have early morning breakfast at 6.00am, depart at 6.30.am from Maasai Mara National Reserve to the Famous Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at around 11.00am, Drive straight on game drives en-route through and within the Park to arrive at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge at 12.30pm in time for hot lunch. Amboseli National Park is one of the best places to see elephants in Kenya. In addition to the elephants, you may also see the zebra, hippopotamus, buffalo, spotted hyena, waterbuck, Maasai giraffe, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, impala, lion and cheetah. The rare gerenuk and the fringe-eared Oryx can also be spotted in the arid northern part of the park. Most mammals stay around the swamps during the day and move towards the hilly countryside before night. The birdlife is also abundant as about 420 species of birds have been recorded in the park. Amboseli National Park is the perfect location for viewing Africa’s tallest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National Park is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the world and the big five, elephant, lion, rhino.
