Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Arrive in Moshi and transfer to your hotel. Meet your guide for a pre-trek briefing and gear check. Enjoy a relaxing evening before your trek begins the next day.
Day 2: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
Start your trek at the Marangu Gate and hike through the rainforest to the Mandara Hut. Along the way, pass through the Maundi Crater and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Continue your trek to the Horombo Hut. Pass through the heather and moorland zones and enjoy views of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Day 4: Acclimatisation Day
Spend the day at the Horombo Hut to acclimatise to the altitude. Take a short hike to Zebra Rock and enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape.
Day 5: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Continue your trek to the Kibo Hut. Pass through the alpine desert zone and enjoy views of the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks.
Day 6: Summit Day
Start your trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Reach the summit in time to watch the sunrise. Take in the views of the surrounding landscape before beginning your descent.
Day 7: Kibo Hut to Marangu Gate
Descend to the Marangu Gate and transfer back to Moshi. Celebrate your achievement with a farewell dinner.
