What you can expect

See the vast array of life in the world's largest coral reef system and along Australia's northeastern coast with this 4-day tour. Visit the townships of Cairns, explore the rainforest of Far North Queensland and venture out for a look at some of the most incredible wildlife at sea.

Day 1: Once you arrive in Cairns, you have the afternoon free to explore the city. You can take a walk along the Esplanade, browse some of the many shops and cafés, or just relax by the beach.

Day 2: A cruise into the Coral Sea gives you a first hand look at the breath-taking beauty of the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Step onto a stable reef activity platform, the perfect base for exploring this natural wonder, where you can go snorkelling among beautiful coral gardens, or stay dry to admire the reef from the underwater observatory or an air-conditioned semi-submersible.

Day 3: Get to know the wonders of the rainforest and the region's unique indigenous culture at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. Follow a native guide to see the many attractions in the park's fascinating rainforest setting, and then board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for a spectacular ride over the rainforest canopy.

After some free time in Kuranda, take the Kuranda Scenic Railway for some wonderful views as you wind your way to Freshwater Station before your transfer back to Cairns.

Day 4: Tour commences this morning in Cairns.
