Caniço is a village located on the suburbs of the main city in Madeira (Funchal). This village was and still is very looked for people of very different nations who come to spend holidays and love it so much that decide to buy a house and stay. Without being pretensions we could say that Caniço is a “ small Beverly Hill town”. This house can be considered a “must” for those who love to spend holidays with quietness, comfort, style and “glamour”.
This spectacular house provides you, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, spacious and well equipped kitchen and an astonishing living room. At the outside you can count with a gracious lounge, spacious solarium, heated swimming pool, surrounding gardens and garage. The decoration is very modern, stylish and good taste. The house has very good natural luminosity.

Fancy appearence outside, many deficiencies inside

-The best features are the location and the view. -Bedrooms and beds are small, also the bathrooms. -The bathrooms upstairs do not have an extra shower, you have to climb in in tiny bathtub. -Threre are no sufficient storage options in the bathrooms. -You will find moulds in the lowerer bathrooms shower as well as in the upholstered furniture on the terrace. -There is a severe electrical problem with the main fuse, we had several blackouts for more than two weeks, including fridge and freezer. It took more than one week , until the property manager sent an electrician, who was finally not able to solve the problem. We spent a lot of money for a lot of troubles.

Outstanding villa

We had a wonderful stay, the villa is bright, modern and airy. Wonderful sea views and great outdoor area. Short 5 minute walk to a small supermarket and choice of restaurants (Inc pizza, ice cream, bakery, a great ‘posher’ restaurant and a few bars). 30 minute walk to the cable car which takes you to the pebble beach (has a great beach bar/restaurant, changing facilities etc). Taxi into Funchal approx 20 euros or the bus is at the end of the road, 2.20 euros one way. Easy 15 minute drive to the airport (but surprisingly very little air traffic over the villa, 2 planes in 2 weeks!). Great indoor and outdoor dining areas, fantastic master suite and well equipped kitchen and Weber Bbq in the garden. The laundry room was very handy and the lift in the villa was the icing on the cake! Would highly recommend!

Villa Camacho Very Comfortable!

The property lived up to the photos on the website. It was very clean and nicely furnished with a well-stocked kitchen (dish ware, glass ware, etc.). Basic kitchen supplies such as garbage bags and paper towel are not provided. The pool and deck area are fantastic . We paid $35 daily to have the pool heated however it did not appear to get any warmer. Granted we had cold weather during our five days end of May. All in all great value for a quality property.
