The best part were the shuttle drivers. Our one from the airport was happy, polite, welcoming and got us to the restaurant later close by. The one on the a.m. the next day was smiling and ready. I found our room 233 to need a new rug, looked terrible. Don't know what they use for cleaning, but obviously I was allergic to it.

The property needs an update and ventilation in the room. Just an air unit made us feel like we were suffocating during the whole stay. Shuttle service was the best thing about this hotel. Robert was super friendly and helpful with our bags. Everything else from the lobby to the pool to the rooms could use upgrades.

This is our first choice when needing to fly out of Portland airport. Friendly staff, clean rooms and great free breakfast. Shuttle runs 24hrs/day. Stayed here several times, always a good experience.

Very friendly front desk staff; nice and easy check in upon arrival; clean rooms and comfortable bed/pillows! Would be nice to have more tea options, and bottled water available in the room; also charging $10/day for parking isn't great, but could be worse, I suppose. Hot breakfast options were incredible, loved the waffle and omelette station options! Coffee (bold roast) was really good as well :)

I am extremely disappointed. We checked in an hour early at 2pm & was told nothing about a waterline being broken and there being no water. We used our one flush and didn’t notice anything off and then left for dinner. We came back from dinner and noticed the water was off and couldn’t flush the toilet. Called the front desk and reported it and they said “we know we had a waterline break, it’s fixed but can’t turn the water on until midnight” and they hung up on me, that was at 645pm. We then left and came back. Upon our return I stopped at the front desk where both front desk ladies were very rude and sarcastic. They would not offer a partial refund or anything despite not having access to water from 2pm to 12am. That was way more than half of our stay. They then told me “we didn’t charge you for parking” so I said “you didn’t even tell me you gave me the parking for free and you didn’t say anything upon check in, despite there being a maintenance van out front when we got here?? Where are we supposed to go pee, poop, shower, clean medical sites, wash our face, etc???” And then the rude blonde one looked at me and said “yes because we planned this, we planned to have our waterline break” I said “i am not saying it’s your fault there is no water but I am paying to be here, $120 for one night and you are having us be without water for more than half our stay?& you didn’t even notify us” Which I was then very rudely told “you can check out right now and we can refund you.”

When I checked in, I was told that there was a plumbing problem, so there was no water in the rooms. When I asked for a partial refund, I was told No, because I had already paid for the room. Really? I paid around $100 for this room, which should have included water. I was unable to flush the toilet, brush my teeth, or take my medicine since there was no water. I finally went back down to the lobby to ask for bottled water, which I was given, but not offered when I checked in. I had planned on taking a shower and washing my hair, which didn't happen. I was able to take a shower in the morning, but not wash my hair because I had an early flight and there wasn't time for it to dry and no blow dryer provided. The room was beautiful, but I am not happy with having to pay full price for a room with no water until morning. I was given two free nights of parking out of seven, but that was not acceptable for compensation. I will be contacting the manager.

They took the restaurant and bar out. I will pick another hotel from now on. I have only stayed here for the last 15yrs.
