Sorry to say but my stay was terrible (17th hotel on this trip and the worst by far). We checked in, a number of issues with first room so moved to second room which also had issues i.e. Tv not working properly, wires from AC control unit on the wall, lying on floor and very dirty floor.
There are No tea or coffee facilities in rooms and the central area for tea and coffee had none 3 times in 3 days. Pool area was not so clean I.e. muck on bottom so they canāt use a vacuum to clean it correctly but all staff I spoke to were very polite and chatty. I waited 3 days for Brett the deputy manager to contact me and he didnāt, despite me asking several times (he was apparently available as I checked out on day 3 but I had to get on). Quite frankly I wished I hadnāt booked it as the photographs are certainly misleading or maybe taken years ago before it became the dirty, tatty hotel it is now.
The location however is fab, as others have said thereās a trolly stop not 2 minutes from the hotel, they run every 10/15 minutes and 1 journey is $1.25 or day pass $3, 15 minute ride and youāre at the top of Bourbon street. There are nice restaurants and bars nearby too as well as some fast food outlets do overall a great location.
I hope they donāt leave some patronising response as they could have sorted issues out whilst I was there if they actually cared and I would never willing stay at this excuse of a hotel again.
Stay at your peril, hope you have more luck than me if you do.
