The pool was ice cold and absolutely insane with kids jumping all of the place, in very unsafe ways. There were no pool towels readily available. Trying to get in touch with room service was extremely challenging and frustrating (two nights in a row). All toiletries were not replenished prior to our stay. The lines for breakfast and the complimentary evening drinks were extremely long. We also asked various front desk workers for assistance with getting places, and they were unable to help us. One place we wanted to get to was the Children's Museum, which is right at Navy Pier. The front desk worker had no idea where it was, and another one told us he had no idea since he works at "8 different hotels". This was the first time I've ever encountered something like this at a hotel.

The good first. Love the value and the staff! And pretty central location near great food! The omelet cook and breakfast staff were personable and friendly. Bartender lady was wonderful, extremely long line and she was quick and attentive! Downside room was dirty and only got two washcloths and towels for 6 people had a hard time getting more!! Couple times ones ended up with no towels or washcloths for shower!! It was very frustrating! The pull out had no blankets available just several sheets. A lot in room needs to be fixed and updated. Hand soap was nice. The beds I thought were supposed to be 2 queens. I think they were maybe fulls, they were awful small to have adults in! I’d rather have a smaller space and a bigger bed. Amazing night and sunrise views though!

I loved the complimentary breakfast and drinks. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Great view of the city. Overall amazing experience!

Not a 4 star hotel by far.
This is not a 4 star hotel. The check in was wonderful, but everything else fell far short. There was a 4 inch gash in the couch on our room. Trash from a former guest was in our room on check in. The soap dispenser in the shower didn’t work. They gave us two full sized towels and one washcloth for a room that was booked to include 5 people. I called housekeeping and left a message and no one ever brought us more towels. The ice machine didn’t work. The breakfast buffet was chaotic and no one checked for our tickets anyway so don’t bother paying extra to book the room with the package that included it. The pool was tiny and crowded with only one ladder to get out of the “deep” end and a set of stairs to get in the shallow end. There was no way for kids to safely get out of the sides because of the design of the pool edge meant that it was about 16 inches above the waterline. This is a 3 star at best. Maybe a 2+. We will not stay here again.

Nice place to stay
Overall it was good, nice rooms and very clean. The walls seemed to be a bit thin, I didn’t get to sleep until the people in the next room went to sleep. That was not great. Really nice view!
