We absolutely love staying here when leaving out of the Carnival Cruise terminal. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful property!

We liked the location. The area to sit out was beautiful. The restaurant has a beautiful view too. I had commented on the fact that something was wrong with the box spring that held the mattress. No one replied. It might have just been rusty and worn out from the ocean air. The rooms are expensive and you still have to charge $40/ day for parking? Does all the food on the restaurant menu have to have a Mexican flair? A chocolate bar I pay $2 for at home cost $6 there. Generally I found the place overpriced!

Hotel needs updating and work.

Hotel bathroom is very small no grab bars to get in the tub. It’s a shower tub combination. I never stay in in an accessible room however I had to change my room. The first room was very large bathroom tiny not accessible then they changed me to an accessible room because of the bathroom and that room was very small. Bathroom much larger there is no chair in the accessible room only a desk chair if you wanted to watch TV you had to lay in bed all the time the way the furniture was arranged. You couldn’t even see the TV from the bed, I had to move the dresser away From the wall into the room in order to be able to view the TV. Hotel needs much love and upgrades. The staff was very kind and accommodating.

The mattress is old. When I needed to call the front desk they never answered. The cleaning lady was supwr nice and helped me with my inquiry. The restaurant charges a 20% tip regardless if you had great service. That's a rip off.

Convenient and Satisfied

Very convenient location if you are taking a cruise out of Long Beach. They do have a shuttle to the cruise port, but it was a nice day and there is a nice path that goes there so I took a walk and was there in maybe 15-20 minutes. If you’ve never had the famous Doubletree cookie, it’s worth going there just for that alone. The attached restaurant was VERY pricy, but if you factor in an Uber ride to and from a different place to eat, it’s the best option. The food was good. And they had sizable portions. The room wasn’t super clean, but it was manageable and I’ve seen much worse. The staff was all very helpful and courteous. They also have a business center with a computer and printer that I used at no cost to print boarding passes for the cruise. I will stay here again next time I cruise at Long Beach. Also, there is a jet ski rental place right on that path. $110 for 2 hours. Had I known about that, I would have taken one for a ride!
