This is a dirty hotel which expects its guest to pay for a dirty room in the age of COVID. Despicable. I was then lied to by staff that management would take care of it. Never heard anything from management. Surprising seeing as I paid $2000 for a week. Save your money or better yet, stay ant the Marriot, and don’t believe these filthy liars.

Lovely room. Nice staff. However, we hung our towel, as we were told, for reuse yet, we still got fresh towels each day. The bathroom needs a fan and the door knob was installed upside down. The security lach was broken.

What an amazing stay Everything was perfect. The area was walkable, easy to get to the rooms were amazing. The atmosphere was incredible. I will be back. I promise you I will be back. We stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Contessa, and it was perfect.The staff was super helpful and friendly. Rooms are just as shown in the pictures. Ammenities are great, and the Hotel is beautiful!

Couples trip at the Hotel Contessa in San Antonio

Our stay was comfortable and nice with a great location in San Antonio. While the photos accurately describe the suites, the rooms were a bit tired with carpet that did not look or feel fresh as well as the furniture (tired and worn). Bed was comfortable as were pillows. Design of space great! I would say the value was not on par with cost - compared to other properties I looked at which did leave me feeling disappointed.

The hotel is conveniently located on the Riverwalk. Easy walking to a lot of attractions. I liked the suite style rooms. Very spacious. Valet parking is the only option, which can get expensive, especially if you come and go often.

Great visit. Definitely recommend staying at the hotel Contessa. Property is ideally located on the river walk. Valet parking is very expensive. We opted to park a garage half a block away.

Love, love, love this hotel!

We always love staying at the Contessa. We are a middle aged couple with grown children and we take weekend trips here and there. We choose this hotel for its luxury feeling, convenience of area and everything located around it, but mostly the friendly staff from everyone from front desk to bartenders. The fact they remember us and seem always happy to see us makes our mini trips even better. I completely recommend this hotel for a comfortable & great stay!

Good amount of space in room, housekeeping did a nice job. Second room of suite had wet carpeting which got progressively worse during our stay. Told the front desk two mornings in a row and there was no follow up or offer to make other accommodations for us.
