Come and enjoy Mirrabella, our Federation style mountain house in the beautiful and world heritage Blue Mountains. Relax, unwind and spoil yourself with king beds, oversized lavish bathrooms, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, wood fires and entertaining deck. We’re only short stroll to the charming village of Blackheath with lots of wonderful cafes, restaurants, and shops. For the more adventurous, the area has so much to offer including walking/hiking trails, canyoning, caving and more.

The house is oozing with charm and there are lots of places to just hang out, relax and enjoy each other's company. We've also attempted to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

The Kitchen
The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with probably anything you need to prepare a beautiful multi-course meal, including a pro style Ilve gas cooktop and Smeg appliances including kettle, toaster, and blender There are lots of wonderful cafes in the village, but if you feel like a coffee on the deck, we've got a Breville Creatista Nespresso machine along with a selection of Nespresso coffee pods. When you're ready to eat, enjoy dinner on rustic handmade crockery, and when you're ready to clean up, we've got a full-size dishwasher.

The Bedrooms
Each of the bedrooms has 2 soft and 2 medium pillows, as well as quilts and 100% wool blankets. Linen and towels are provided, and the gas ducted heating extends to the bedrooms.

The downstairs king bedroom can be configured as 2 king singles. Just let us know and we'll have the bed prepared as singles.

The Living Areas
Relax in front of the wood fires or enjoy our central ducted gas heating. We've got a Sonos music system which plays music in the main family room, the sitting room and the dining room. In the house manual (found in the house), instructions explain how to connect your mobile device to play your music. If it's a rainy day or you feel like staying in, we've got a large selection of games Chess, Mahjong, Backgammon, Hedbanz, Scrabble, Cluedo Junior, Rummikub, Battleship and various jigsaw puzzles, a large range of books to choose from or enjoy a movie from our Netflix account or large iTunes collection on our 55" T V. The entire home and the entertaining areas are yours to enjoy, the house is set up as a holiday property and not shared by other guests or owners. Bedrooms are determined by the number of guests staying, the listed price is for up to 2 guests, additional charges apply for extra guests.

Cushions for the garden chairs are in the room under the house, which can be accessed via the door under the rear deck.

Beautiful house very v central to Blackheath

Lovely house - lots of space, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Very close to everything in Blackheath village. Communication with the host was good. Only one small note of caution: it’s only a couple of blocks back from the highway so you can hear trucks (& trains) a bit at night. This did not stop me sleeping but might be an issue if you’re noise-sensitive. I would definitely return.

Mirabella Blackheath

Loved our 2night stay at Mirabella in Blackheath. This lovely old cottage has all the mod cons & special touches for a really warm & comfortable winter getaway. It is much more spacious than photos indicate. Beautifully styled and just a short walk to the village & an easy drive to spectacular Blue Mountains lookouts & trails. Highly recommend!

Charmingly Delightful Spacious Cottage

Beautiful cottage

We had to postpone and change the date so many times for our little getaway to the Blue Mountains but Helen made it so easy and was always so accommodating. We had a lovely basket of goodies on our arrival and the cottage is perfect.

Superb place to stay

This is just such a lovely, peaceful place to stay. An incredibly beautiful traditional "Mountains" home, very well furnished and exceptionally well equipped. Nothing seems to have been forgotten. The pictures do not do this place justice. Owner was very helpful, and very generous with a welcome pack. The place made the fact that it rained while we were there enjoyable, it was great to be able to relax and read. So much space to spread out in, and a wonderful place to write if you need inspiration. Handy to shops but not so close to be noisy or inundated with people. Highly recommend this place.

60th Birthday

Went away for the weekend for our friends 60th birthday. We were very surprised how lovely the house is. It has everything for a very pleasant stay, including a breakfast basket and plenty of coffee pods. The weekend we were there was the coldest so far this winter, but you never knew it due to the central heating and the magnificent fire. Pleanty to do in the area.

Gorgeous home away from home

Mirrabella is the perfect getaway, fantastic location and immaculately presented. With everything you could ever need, you will want to explore the delights of Blackheath but will not want to leave the comforts of this home. Catering for all, including children. Mirrabella Blackheath holiday

What a delightful place to stay ! It was very spacious and roomy, beautifully decorated and lovely sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped with lots of extras supplied. A lovely big dining room and even a 'Games Room/Library'. A truly lovely place to stay in Blackheath, which is a lovely place to visit.
