L'Ateneo dell’Università di Bari è raggiungibile dalla fermata del treno appulo lucano "Bari Policlinico",a 160 metri dalla Casa di Telen,che porta alla Stazione centrale anche solo per una passeggiata nelle vie dello shopping o nella città vecchia o per le spiagge Pane e pomodoro (libera) o San Francesco (lido a pagamento).
