"Simply stunning!"
Our room was breathtaking, beautiful, fresh, clean with everything we could possibly need. The facilities were gorgeous, in perfect condition, clean & neat. Staff were amazing, friendly, helpful Only complaint was the heated pool wasn't heated quite enough for us Queenslanders but the fantastic spa sure made up for it.

"Great location "
Close to the action but nestled in a beautiful quiet rainforest. i would avoid if you have serious mobility issues as its up a steep climb. There's a buggy but it's only at certain times.

"Nice place - but......"
Nice place - however a nice sign in kitchen said if you didn't take your rubbish downstairs and clean all your dishes you will be charged extra. Cool about rubbish and the dishes but for $233 overnight stay and an earlydeparture had to put dishwasher on at 5am as we were leaving at 6.30am, would have liked the sleep in as they dishwasher was very noisey and had to turn it off at bedtime as i could go to sleep. Showerheads shot water out like a hose not a sprinkler and that was in both showers! I would go there again with my family however will read the signage before settling in for the evening. LOL

"Amazing Stay"
My family's experience was one that made us want to come back again. We wish our stay was longer. We had gone to caloundra for a sports tournament and the hotel was in walking distance to the stadium, shops and coffee shops were literally across the road. The facilities was awesome....my kids loved the water oasis. As a guest my thumbs up goes to the customer service. So helpful to us as we had to check in after hours and when I got there I advised the managers that I wasn't able to get to reception the following morning to give my details as we had an early start, the manager was happy to help me out even after closing hours of reception. We hope to get back up there again and this time stay longer :) we couldn't stop talking about how much we wished we had stayed longer. Thank you for an awesome time.

"A very enjoyable three nights"
Our room, a twin double was spacious and with a relaxing view onto the beautiful gardens. The beds were remarkably comfortable and the building very quiet so a good nights sleep was guaranteed. We did not use all the facilities, pool, lagoon, the main restaurant or any of the activities available but there seemed to be a plethora a choices available for whatever type of holiday one wanted.

"Good location"
View lovely but frustrating that you couldn't enjoy view from bed or couch! Bed saggy and it was supposed to be a king bed but 2 singles joined so not comfy. Clean room. Great guitarist in bar on the Friday.

"Good overnight stay"
The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Nothing special about this place but good value for money and great location. Bistro meals are of good quality and generously portioned. The staff were a standout for me. Friendly and always willing to help, AAA+. If you are looking for a luxury stay with all the bells and whistles, this place is not for you. If you want a base to work from with good basic rooms and honest meals, then it's worth a look. I'll be back.

    Pocket Guide: Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast is a hard to beat holiday destination. With its golden sun-drenched beaches, breezy seaside towns, rugged mountain hikes and unique markets, chances are it has everything you need. Just one hour north of Brisbane, "the Sunny Coast" is a fave getaway for the city’s locals, but why should they have all the fun? Book your Sunshine Coast hotel with us and start hiking, swimming, surfing, adventuring and living life to the fullest in a region that lives up to its name.

    History

The Sunny Coast is the third largest city in Queensland, after Brisbane and the more developed Gold Coast. In 1770, Captain Cook became the first European to spot the Glass House Mountains. In the 1860s and 1870s, many of the Sunny Coast’s towns began as timber ports, and roads were built for hauling timber. In the 1890s, small farming became the main industry. And after WW2, surfing and tourism started to take off.

    Beaches

The beaches are something special on the Sunny Coast. Clean and white, they’re patrolled by lifesavers and often blissfully free of crowds. There’s the live music and bustling markets of Peregian Beach, the safe swimming and surf beaches of Noosa and the awesome breaks of Mooloolaba’s Point Cartwright.

Fishing or a scenic walk more your style? Maybe you’d be interested in a Bribie Island stay?

    Hiking and the Hinterland

With all of the Sunshine Coast’s national parks, forests and mountains, you’ll find no shortage of places to hike or bushwalk. Discover the hoop pine woods of Amamoor State Forest or the waterfall of Kondalilla Falls National Park, in the charming Hinterland village of Montville.

Keen hikers can take on the mountains of the Glasshouse Mountains National Park, like Mt. Tibrogargan or Mt. Beerwah. There are bushwalking routes to the summits as well as abseiling and rock climbing sites.

    Attractions

Take a photo and check out the markets at the Big Pineapple, in the Nambour Region. Spend time with the animals – including crocs – at The Australia Zoo, home of the Irwin family. Swim with sharks, hang with seals or walk through an 80m underwater tunnel at Mooloolaba’s Underwater World, Queensland’s biggest oceanarium.

In Palmview, you get two tourist attractions in the one spot: Ettamogah Pub, a quirky-looking bar based on the cartoons of Ken Maynard, and Aussie World, a theme park packed with rides for the whole family.

    Shopping, dining and nightlife

The best shopping on the Coast can be found at the markets, like the Eumundi Market, where handmade art meets fresh food and live entertainment. The towns are full of delicious restaurants, the Hinterland has amazing wineries, and the region’s towns have a lively nightlife scene with live music and clubbing.

    Getting here

If you’re convinced that the Coast has the most, book your cheap flight to Brisbane and Sunshine Coast hotel with us and get a bus, train or hire car to the Sunshine Coast. Big family trip? We have family-friendly accommodation with two and three-bedroom rooms on the Sunshine Coast. Wherever you stay, it's sure to be a summer you’ll remember.
