The homeless was noticeable. We walked to a restaurant close by (about 1/2 mile). I was a little concerned about safety. Dozens of spots cleaned up, but obviously previous campfires had burn the sidewalk.

Great Hotel in Downtown Stockton
The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The rates are very attractive and we were extremely pleased once we arrived. Our third floor room had a nice water view of the delta. The fenced in parking directly across the street was clean and well-maintained, with the added bonus of having on-site security. The bar and bistro was nice, clean and has great service. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Other than the rudeness of the front desk the night I checked in (she didn’t greet me, didn’t make eye contact, obviously annoyed with her job, not friendly) everything was great. Every other front desk worker I interacted with was great.
