    Located on the basin of the Han River, Seoul is the capital of South Korea, and home to more than 10 million people, making it one of the most populated cities in the world. Due to its population density, the city is well equipped with impressive skyscrapers and 12 lane freeways, which were a key concept when Seoul was first designed. There are however 6 major parks including the Seoul Forest, and a ‘green belt which is aimed at prevent the city sprawling out into neighbouring provinces. There is no doubt that Seoul is a beautiful city, and our range of Seoul hotels, will put you ideally placed to experience everything this city has to offer.

    Our Seoul accommodation is the perfect base to experience all the city's colour and culture. With numerous historical structures and museums, temples, shrines, and outdoor attractions and parks, there is much to see and do. Despite its neon lights and skyscrapers, visitors are offered a multitude of cultural sights and experiences. Hotels in Seoul are generally of very good standard, much of which has to do with the major makeover it underwent, in order to host the 1988 Olympic Games.

    Like many of its Asian counterparts, Seoul has an amazing array of food, shopping, and local markets to offer. Perhaps Seoul’s biggest strength when it comes to shopping, is in the Korean-produced consumer goods such as clothing, shoes and leather goods. With regards to the food, it is often said that if you don’t try Kimchi, Korea’s staple side dish, that you will never truly experience what Korea has to offer. Korea has all kinds of eating establishments, ranging from street vendors, and hole-in-the-wall shikdangs, to high-priced formal restaurants will full-course meals. Keep in mind that tipping is not customary in Korea.
