Love the personality of these Autograph collection properties, each one unique and cool. This had a an eclectic Santa Cruz and redwoods vibe, that really offered a sense of place. Each of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, special shout out to Kelly our waitress at the restaurant! Great food fabulous service, a very well-maintained environment. We will be back.

Great vibes, but patio furniture indoors?
I really enjoyed the hotel vibe. It was very Santa Cruz friendly. Everybody we came into contact was friendly and accommodating. My only issue was their use of patio furniture in the room. Not very comfortable to use the other room during our stay. They went through a very nice renovation process that presented a very nice hotel, but it seemed weird they would go with patio furniture in a suite like room. The shortcut to save some money and not spend the money on real in door furniture was a little perplexing.

I truly enjoyed my 3 night stay. Every employee I encountered treated me like their best customer. The food and beverages were amazing! Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Definitely recommend above all others in the area.

A must stay in Santa Cruz
The stay was amazing. My girlfriend and I had a little weekend getaway. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the front desk. Made our way to our room and it was tidy and very clean. We were able to use some of the amenities such as the spa and fitness area. The pool heater sadly was not working… but we did make the best of it and was going back and forth from the hot tub to the pool for a little cold plunge. We decided to dine out a a local Mexican restaurant called Copal. Wonderful flavors. Another plus was they had filtered water machine on each floor. I’m a nerd for fresh filtered water . We ended the night with the Solaire bar and one last cocktail. It was pretty expensive. $17 a pop. It’s what you can expect from a hotel restaurant bar. They also had a bunch great options to play games in their very decorative lobby. Will definitely be staying there again.
