We came to town for a concert at the SAP Center which was only about a mile away. Very good location and nice accommodation. Just a block away from the weekend night life. A little noisy when the transit train/ trolley goes by at night, but other than that it was a good stay.

We stayed here one night. Upside: we checked in at 12:30…and the room, tho very very small was clean and maintained. The downside: the advertised brunch was not available, in fact, the restaurant wasn’t open. We walked downtown to find food, and virtually every restaurant was closed. We finally found a sandwich shop. Parking is an additional $39, and $40 if you’re not a guest. The lot was jammed full and we were afraid we would t be able to find a spot after a Sharks game, about 10:30. We got the last spot. We weren’t terribly impressed, and it’s doubtful we would stay again.

We arrived to hotel at 11:30pm and there was a group a people in front just hanging out and smoking pot. It was like they had no other place to go and wanted to gather in the courtyard in front. Not a welcoming atmosphere. The property is noisy but it is an older building downtown. It was clean and rooms are nice.
