I don’t usually complain, but upon arriving at the Kimpton Every Hotel in Hollywood on Thursday, February 22nd, for a two-night stay, I encountered several issues. The front desk agent, unhelpful when I requested a higher room, insisted my 506 room was the highest available, dismissing my request.
In my room, I discovered dust everywhere, especially in the carpet corners and the HVAC outlet behind the toilet. Despite reporting the missing fridge and inoperable phone, the promised room service never arrived. The shower had minimal pressure, a grimy shower head, and the thermostat failed to raise the room temperature above 67 degrees. Additionally, there was no hairdryer, and the wall-mounted television faced upwards towards the ceiling.
As a frequent traveler, I’m disappointed by the overall worn-out condition of the rooms and the lackluster staff. Despite the assurance of a manager contacting me, I never received any communication.
