It’s a very reasonable price compared to all the other lodging near winter park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s basic service compared to fancier lodging. So if you need a TV and other options in the same building it may not work for you. For families in need of a reasonable price place it’s just right.

Plenty to do to make the best of it!
We knew there weren’t going to be any TV’s in The room and prepared for that. The pool was closed so that was a bummer and they didn’t offer to pay for us to go to another location as described in another review on here. They gave us another location to a pool, but said we would have to pay a fee. but they had many other activities like the rec center which they had dodge ball, basketball, roller skating, pool table and pickleball. Looking for other buildings on the property became a challenge even with the map they give you because there are no signs to help navigate you to your desired destination. We were woken up at 7 am, really 6am because of the time change by a fire alarm in our building because of a toaster in someone’s room and we had to vacate the building in the freezing cold. I asked the office for a refund and was denied, they didn’t even offer an apology just said they couldn’t do anything because it’s not their policy to do anything like that. We tried going to the lunch buffet and decided it wasn’t for us, because all they had was chili and cornbread. Remember when you go to the Craft building to paint your item the night before, because it’s kiln that night. You get it the next day. We didn’t know that. We snow tubed but yet couldn’t find the building because there are no signs that say snow tuning or ice skating. Just family building. We still made the best of our trip and were satisfied with all the other amenities and will be back in The summer

This property was incredibly dated and in and of itself that wouldn't be a problem. It was the secondary issues created from that that really made the place inconvenient. There was very limited lighting in all the rooms making it very dark. There was a fairly constant musty smell again likely because of the property age. The room did not include a TV at all. The shower/tub didn't drain. The property was cheap to stay at and it was a bed but if I was going to be there for any extended period of time more than just the one night we did book I probably wouldn't stay at this location.
